La Ruta day 3
November 13th, 2009 | Posted by Bart | Topic: NewsWe rode over a volcano in the morning and enjoyed an earth quake in the afternoon. Today was a true geological experience.
Stage 3 was the best yet for Team Monavie-Cannondale. We placed 4 guys in the top 5. Unfortunately we had a few incidents that put the top spot out of reach but tomorrow is another day and we will have another shot at the win!
Going into stage 4 we are looking good in the Open GC with Alex in 3rd, Jeremiah 4th, Ben 8th, Bart 12th, and Bryan 29th. Lets see what tomorrow brings…

Wow, Alex Grant ought to be THE BEST Mountain Biker out there right now if you put everything into perspective! He is a “professional MTB” and does not get paid for. (did I hear this right?). He is pulling great results such as 4th place on the Leadville 100th while he is a full-time rep??? Pay this guy a salary, and watch him winning championships for Monavie and Team USA!!
